Whatever catchphrase you want to use - to say this last year was unexpected is a vast understatement.
I am fortunate that my "day job" never was affected by the shutdowns - but my photography took a backseat. This was compounded when in October of 2020, my mom was diagnosed with brain cancer. What we thought would be years left with her quickly shrank to weeks. Fifty-seven days to be exact, from diagnosis to the day she left us.
Anyways I don't mean for this to be a sad post. Life is short, so we should make the most of it - and if last year wasn't a learning lesson on that, I don't know what is. So with that being said - I'm back!
I want to devote more time to my photography. Since high school, I've been taking pictures not just in professional situations but of family, friends, and random adventures. It's almost meditative for me in the sense that I feel at ease behind the camera or editing on my computer. So let that benefit you! Let's take those photos you've been meaning to take or have been putting off this last year.
NEW WEBSITE
I’ve revamped my site - hopefully a more cohesive experience being easier navigate. I intend to post a lot more content; while writing isn’t my forte, I want to push myself to put my voice out there a bit more. I’m going to post things that make me happy and will hopefully inspire those around me. Photography, to me, is not only a way to capture beautiful memories for others but a way to express myself.
MINI SESSIONS
Twice a year, I’ll schedule mini-sessions locally in Orange County. Check under the “INFO” tab for more information, but I will have an annual fundraiser for a brain cancer charity in the spring. In the fall, I will be scheduling mini-sessions for those looking for quick and simple holiday pictures.
